JJ and I met up with my sister outside of Charleston, WV on Saturday and drove home to IL for the week.

While we've been home, with 3 extra people who are itching to get their hands on JJ, I've had the opportunity to get a TON of crocheting done - awesome!! Here's what I've been up to. . .
I was looking for a pattern to make my mom a cozie/sleeve for her iPod Touch. I couldn't find one I liked, so I wrote my own. I think it turned out pretty decent for my very first original pattern!
I've also been making Coffee Sleeves - when your beverage is too hot (or too cold, I guess) to hold, slip a sleeve on it to make it more comfortable. . . you can unbutton and adjust the size of each sleeve.
It's also great to be home because I have a little sister who doesn't mind modeling the beanies I've made.

Clipped to the beanie are these bar pin flowers. . . you can pin these to your shirt, favorite bag, beanie, etc. . .
I got back into town just before the Grand American starts out at the ATA - and apparently there are some sidewalk/parking lot types of sales going on Friday and Saturday this week. There will be booths and stands set up with all kinds of goodies at some local businesses around Sparta- my grandma is setting up a booth and told me to price some of my stuff and bring them on over. Yay! Maybe I'll make enough to treat JJ and myself to a couple Tropical Sno's - I would consider that a win :)
I told my husband I'm nervous about it - I was browsing around Etsy looking for the types of things I've made to see what to charge - the prices are all over the place. That was no help. I think the stuff I crochet is cute, but will anyone else? Will people pay $3 for a coffee sleeve? Will they think $2 is too much for a flower hair clip? Am I asking too much by putting $4 on the flower bar pins? Eek!
All you crafters/shoppers out there. . .how do those prices sound? I welcome any and all input!

I think they are awesome looking and would definitely pay those prices!! You may want to charge a dollar or two more, but what you have is fine too!! I wish I could go to your booth and buy stuff....I will be busy manning a yard sale and soccer registration....
This stuff is super cute!! I especially like the coffee sleeve!! I would definitely pay the prices you suggested! I would probably even consider buying extra coffee sleeves for gifts. You are very talented, Beth!! Keep up the good work:)
I already told you what I think. You can definitely charge more than you think and still make some money! They are really cute and I like the new additions = )
