Goodnight, Sweetheart

Mr. Independent

I've recently let JJ start rinsing on his own after I brush his teeth. He still uses the learner toothpaste (safe to swallow)...so, I figured, why not? I don't want to say it was a mistake, but I will concede I did not fully consider the ramifications of my decision.

He's cute and all, (especially when he puts the brush in his mouth and shakes his head around instead of moving the brush itself), but he's as stubborn as a mule. He now thinks he doesn't need me for any part of the teeth-brushing. Wrong. I don't want him growing up to be Captain Cavities, so I do the brushing.

On an unrelated note: How cute are these long underwear? I got 2 pair of them (tops and bottoms) for $1 - score!

Over the summer JJ would spit in the pool, but he still doesn't grasp spitting the water out to rinse, he'd rather just drink it. lol. Better than drinking that chlorine water, I guess.
