Sneak Peek: My current craft project.

For the past month, I've been sewing and gluing away with felt, felt and more felt. I'm making a flat globe with movable icons and animals to be placed in their correct (or not so correct) locations. I bought the instructions from my friend, Felicia, over at Eclectically Home Grown. I promised her I'd update her on my progress - so here goes...

Each of the icons have velcro glued to the back.

Here are about half of the animals and landmarks.
The other half are finished, but still need velcro glued to the back.

Some of my favorites include these two animals.
An elephant for India and an Arctic penguin.

Landmarks Big Ben and the Statue of Liberty make an appearance.

One of my favorites, the St. Louis Arch!

And of course, you've got to have a few planes to get you from place to place.

I've had a blast making all these little guys. But I'm also excited to be done so I can see the finished product. To see Felicia's finished felt globe, you need to read this post. It's super cute! I've made some changes here and there, but for the most part - you'll see what I'm talking about.

My next craft project makes me so happy! My sister and I will be working with our future sister-in-law to get some wonderful wedding reception decorations ready. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures.

Hobby Lobby, here I come!!
