What a weekend!

Friday we had water gun fights.
Then that night (2:30am) Grammy, Papa, and Aunt B came into town.
I let JJ stay up to wait for them.
It was a long night....but he did it!
Saturday we slept in and went out for lunch.
We picked out a swing set to assemble and spent the rest of the day in the pool.
I did some Memorial Day inspired nails.
Sunday we went to church and spent the day outside.
Dad and Kevin worked on the swing set.
Mom, Brooke and I spent the rest of the day with JJ in the pool.
Monday we went to Target.
Came home for lunch/swimming.
I made my very first pulled pork...6 lbs of it. Leftovers this week - yum!
Then off to Lowes to get the final touches for the swing set.
And we may have stopped for some ice cream, too.

We got stepping stones to make the floor for JJ's bottom clubhouse.
Dad worked on the floor and JJ held the door.
This morning we had a big breakfast and my family hit the road.
They were able to sneak out while JJ watched Toy Story - so there were no tears this time....but he keeps wandering around the house calling, "Papa? Papa? Oh no! No Papa."
We'll see them in less than a month on a sunny beach in Florida for a week.
Yay!

ps - how cute is what he said when he was looking for papa. awwww.
He loves me, his Daddy, his Grammy...he loves his family. But there is a deep obsession with his Papa :)
