I was going to post some more wedding pictures this morning, but we were without power due to a very quick moving storm.
This tree fell in our side yard. That's our privacy fence to the left.
Had that tree fallen in any other direction it could have taken out our neighbors shed (pictured), their pool, our out-building, our fence, our pool, deck, porch and damaged our roof. It was a very tall tree, which needed to come down anyway because of it's dangerous location. God took care of it with no damage at all!
This shot shows you just how bad it could have been.
I realize a pool is nothing to lose sleep over. People live without them. We could easily survive without ours. We are just thankful it was spared, along with all of the other potentially damaged buildings, etc I already listed.
JJ had a great time helping clean-up!
He got to get wet and dirty and play with some dogs. But then, he started running a fever. I think I remember something about not playing out in the rain...something about catching your death of cold? Oops!
He's feeling better. Though it made for a rough night for Mommy and Daddy!

My parents, 500 miles away, also got hit and lost power just a few hours before we did. Anybody else get hit?
